To my Sisters, Goddesses, Queens, and all the powerful women of the world,
Today I feel like sharing something very personal with you.
Throughout my entire career, my art has moved like the journey of a woman.
There were moments when I created pure feminine beauty, collections like English Garden, Daises, Botanica, Flutter Garden, Lyra, Edenia. Celebrating softness, flowers, sensuality, the poetry of being a woman, being ethereal.
And then life would move, and my art would change.
I created stronger pieces, almost like warrior suits, Flutter, Nyad, Luminar, Sobek, Dragonar, expressions of the feminine that protects, survives, and rises when life demands strength.
Looking back through the perspective of time, I see something clearly.
For the past 30 years, I have been painting our stories, our characters evolving, our struggles, our victories, our rebirths.
Every collection, every name, every piece has carried its own hero’s journey. The feminine brimming with life. She is fullness… overflowing.
On this Women’s Day, I feel humbled.
Without always realizing it, I have spent my life drawing and singing an ode to the Goddess that lives within every woman.
And for that, I feel deeply grateful.
With love,
Ema
